THE RACE: The presidential race for Republicans, Democrats in Ohio.
___
THE NUMBERS — REPUBLICANS

Mike Huckabee, 10 percent
Fred Thompson, 7 percent
Mitt Romney, 7 percent
___
THE NUMBERS — DEMOCRATS

___
OF INTEREST:
Huckabee has moved up in Ohio among Republicans although Giuliani holds a double-digit lead. Clinton is seen as the best candidate in either party to handle immigration. ___
The telephone poll, done by Quinnipiac University Polling Institute, was conducted Nov. 26 to Dec. 3. It has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 2.9 percentage points for the 1,178 Ohio voters surveyed, 4.8 percentage points for the 418 Republicans surveyed and 4.7 percentage points for the 436 Democrats surveyed.
